  • ■General Information
This event is designed around the spirit of Bracket 2 Commander, with an emphasis on everyone at the table having a fun and memorable experience together. Of course, players are still trying to win games, but we also hope participants value creating enjoyable moments for the entire table just as much as pursuing victory themselves. If that style of Commander sounds appealing to you, we would love for you to join this “Casual” event.

We also recommend the “Casual” event for players using preconstructed decks without modifications. While there can naturally be differences in deck strength, the goal of this event is to enjoy those differences as part of the experience.

Pods are normally 4 players, but may be adjusted to 3–5 players depending on attendance. A total of 2 games will be played, and pods will be reshuffled between rounds. Players may change decks between rounds.

For more information about Brackets, please see this article.

The total time is 75 minutes: 5 minutes for aligning deck power levels and commanders (so-called "Rule 0") before the match, and 70 minutes for the match itself. If a game has not ended when time is called, play may continue for up to 3 additional minutes if the game is expected to conclude once the stack becomes empty. If the game still does not end, the player with the highest life total wins. If multiple players are tied for the highest life total, the player seated latest in turn order among them is the winner.

After each game, players at the table should decide the recipient of the “Democratic Winner” for that game.
Players who receive the Democratic Winner award are eligible to have their decklist featured. If you wish to do so, please register your deck list on the same day and notify the staff.

Registration is first come, first served. Entry will close once all seats for the currently running event are filled.

    Key Reminders for Participants
If you choose to participate with a Bracket 3 deck or similar, please keep in mind that this is a social gathering where the overall enjoyment of the table takes priority. We ask that you be mindful of the intent of playing in Bracket 2 and respect the expectations for Bracket 2 gameplay.
What is expected in Bracket 2:
    • Decks are not fully optimized or overly complex; they include cards chosen for creativity and entertainment value.
    • Win conditions are gradual, visibly presented on the board, and open to interaction/disruption.
    • Gameplay is focused on social interaction and low-pressure engagement.
    • Gameplay is proactive yet considerate, serving as a space where everyone can showcase their deck's plan.
