○ How to Participate
Please come to the event reception counter during the above reception hours.
Please purchase a Commander deck (pre-constructed deck) product sold at Hareruya stores or online and participate.
You can add up to 20 cards of your choice from the initial state.
However, the Commander must be one of the cards included in the initial 100 cards. ('Recommended Ban Cards' cannot be added.)
*You can use Commander decks purchased in advance, not just on the day of the event.
*If the event is popular, there may be no stock available in stores on the day of the event.
○ Beginner-Friendly Event
This event is designed to be easy for those who are unfamiliar with playing or who haven't played in a while.
Those who meet the following criteria can participate.
- Those unfamiliar with matches and events
- Those who are anxious about participating in an event after a long time
- Those who mainly play MTG Arena and are unfamiliar with tabletop Magic
- Those who consider themselves beginners
If you are unsure whether you or your friends meet the eligibility requirements, please feel free to contact the store.
This event is designed to allow participants to enjoy themselves while getting used to playing against each other. Experienced players in particular are asked to be considerate of other participants. We reserve the right to refuse participation if, at our discretion, it is difficult for you to enjoy the event in accordance with its purpose. Thank you for your understanding.
〇Event Structure
The event will primarily consist of 4-player tables, divided into groups of 3 to 5 depending on the number of participants.
A total of 2 games will be played. Tables will be rearranged between games. This event is for those who wish to play at the 'Party' game level. For more information on game levels, please refer to
this article.
Each game lasts 60 minutes.
If the game does not end within the time limit, the player with the most life points (if there are multiple players, the player seated furthest back) wins. However, if the player with the most life points could change before the stack is empty, the game continues until the stack is empty or 10 minutes have passed.
Once a winner is determined, the participants at the table should decide on the 'Most Exciting and Happy Award' for this game.
You can change decks for each game.
○What to bring
Please bring your deck and items necessary for game progression, such as dice.
It is convenient to bring a smartphone capable of running 'Magic: The Gathering Companion' (details below).
○For First-Time Participants
To make your participation more convenient, please create a Hareruya account and install and create an account for the smartphone app "Magic: The Gathering Companion" in advance. You can use it for push notifications of match table numbers, life display, and registration of match results.
You can create a Hareruya account from
Hareruya My Page, and download and create an account for "Magic: The Gathering Companion" (if you play MTG Arena, you can use the same account) from
MTG Official Page.
*Participation in the event is possible even without these.
○Minimum number of participants
This event will be held if there are 3 or more participants.
○Joining midway
We accept mid-game participants until the start of the second game. In this case, the participation fee will be 300 yen.
○Half-price discount for women
Female players receive a 50% discount on participation fees for all events hosted by Hareruya. You can participate in this event for 300 yen. Please inform the staff when registering for the event.
*Cannot be combined with other discounts. *Amounts less than 100 yen will be rounded up.
