■General Information
○ Beginner-Friendly Event
This event is designed for those unfamiliar with competitive play or returning after a long break.
Participants should meet the following criteria:
・Those unfamiliar with competitive play or events
・Those who are anxious about returning to an event after a long break
・Those primarily using MTG Arena and unfamiliar with tabletop Magic
・Those who consider themselves beginners
If you or your friends are unsure whether you meet the eligibility requirements, please feel free to contact the store.
This event aims to help participants become comfortable with competitive play while having fun with each other. Experienced players, in particular, are requested to be considerate of other participants. If we determine that a participant does not meet the criteria for this event (e.g., if their deck list has been repeatedly posted in daily or premium events), we reserve the right to refuse their participation. Please understand this in advance.
○ Required Items
Please bring your deck and necessary items such as dice for gameplay.
Bringing a smartphone capable of running "Magic: The Gathering Companion" (details below) is recommended.
○ How to Participate
Please come to the event registration counter during the above registration time.
○ For First-Time Participants
To make participation easier, it is recommended that you create a Hareruya account and install and create an account for the smartphone app "Magic: The Gathering Companion" in advance. This allows you to receive push notifications for your match table number, view your life points, and register your match results.
You can create a Hareruya account from your Hareruya My Page, and download and create an account for "Magic: The Gathering Companion" (if you play MTG Arena, you can use the same account) from the official MTG website.
*Participation in the event is possible even without these.
○ Event Structure
Two rounds of Swiss-system tournament will be held. The time limit for each round is 50 minutes. The tournament will conclude after the second round. If the number of participants is odd, some participants may receive a bye.
