○ Beginner-oriented event
This event is designed to be easy for those who are new to competitive play or haven't played in a while to participate.
People who fit the following criteria are welcome to participate:
- Those who are unfamiliar with competitive play or events
- Those who are anxious about participating in an event after a long time
- Those who mainly play MTG Arena and are unfamiliar with tabletop Magic
- Those who consider themselves beginners
If you or your friends are unsure whether you qualify, please feel free to contact the store.
This event is intended to allow participants to get used to playing against each other while having fun. Experienced players, in particular, are asked to be considerate of other participants. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we determine that you are not eligible for this event, such as if your decklist has been posted multiple times in daily events or premier events. Thank you for your understanding.
○ Necessary items to bring
Please bring a deck and any items necessary for gameplay, such as dice.
It will be convenient if you bring a smartphone that can use "Magic: The Gathering Companion" (details below).
○How to Participate
Please come to the event registration counter during the registration hours listed above.
○For First-Time Participants
For the most convenient participation, please create a Hareruya account and install and create an account for the smartphone app "Magic: The Gathering Companion" in advance. You can use this to receive push notifications for table numbers, display life totals, register match results, and more.
You can create a Hareruya account from your
Hareruya My Page. To download Magic: The Gathering Companion and create an account (MTG Arena players can use the same account), please visit the
official MTG page.
*You can participate in the event even without these.
○Event Structure
Two rounds of Swiss draw will be played. Each round has a time limit of 50 minutes. The event will be adjourned after the second round. If there is an odd number of participants, a bye may be awarded.
○Minimum Number of Participants
This event will be held if there are three or more participants.
○ Late Joining
Late joins are accepted up until the start of the second round. However, late joins are not accepted if there is a possibility that you will be given a bye in the second round. If you join late, you will be given a bye in the first round.
○ Late Withdrawal
Please withdraw from the menu on the Magic: The Gathering Companion event screen. You can leave at any time. Rejoining is not permitted.
