○Event Structure
After Swiss rounds according to the number of participants, a single-elimination tournament will be held for the top players.
8-16 players: 4 rounds of Swiss draw + 1 round of Top 4 single-elimination
17 or more players: 4 rounds of Swiss draw + a semi-final with the Top 13 (excluding the Swiss round winner), followed by a final between the 3 winners and the Swiss round winner.
Each participant will be initially awarded 1,000 points. The loser of each match will lose 7% of their points. The winner receives points equal to the total points lost by the losers (rounded up to the nearest whole number). In a 3-player match, the winner receives points equivalent to the loss of the 4th player.
〇 About the time limit
The time limit for Swiss rounds is 60 minutes. If a match is not completed within the time limit, the game will continue until the stack is empty after the time limit expires, and the game will end the moment the stack is empty. Single-elimination rounds have no time limit.
〇 About the pairings
Four rounds will be played with random pairings, and the top 4 players with the most points will advance to the final. In principle, matches will be played with 4 players, but there may be 3-player matches. Points and win/loss results will not be revealed until the end of the 4 rounds.
〇 About the first turn player (turn)
The player in seat A of the announced match pairings will be the first turn player, and turns will proceed in the order of players A, B, C, and D.
○Minimum number of participants
This tournament will be held if there are 8 or more participants.
