What is “Magic Academy: Deck Building”?
“Magic Academy: Deck Building” lets you experience deck construction. It's one of the series events following “Magic Academy: How to Play Magic.” At this event, you'll purchase six Magic: The Gathering Play Booster packs and practice building decks from them to prepare for Prerelease or your first Sealed Deck event.
Experienced players can bring family and friends to help recruit the next generation of Magic players.
Consider this event an upgraded version of a “Beginner's Experience” or “Open House.” It welcomes new players with more support and is a two-part series event.
Registration Method
Those registering on the day should come to the tournament counter during the registration times listed above. Participation is free, but you must purchase Play Booster packs at the register.

○Event Structure
After watching deck-building guide videos provided by Wizards, you will construct a deck using 6 Play Booster packs. The session takes approximately 2 hours.
○ Minimum Participants
We will hold the event with a minimum of 1 participant.
○ Sessions Outside Scheduled Hours
We can accommodate participation outside the listed dates and times. Please inform staff at the store if you wish to do so. Please note that availability may depend on crowding conditions on the day. Additionally, sessions can be held anytime for groups (including experienced players) who do not require gameplay instruction from staff.
