■General Information
○How to participate
Please come to the event reception counter during the reception hours listed above.
Please purchase a commander deck (pre-constructed deck) product sold at Hareruya stores or on the online store and participate.
You can add up to 20 cards of your choice from the initial deck.
However, the commander must be one of the cards included in the initial 100 cards. (You cannot add "banned cards.")
※You can use commander decks purchased in advance, not just on the day.
※If the event is popular, there may be no stock in the store on the day.
○Beginner event
This event is easy for people who are new to battles or who have not played in a long time to participate.
People who fit the following criteria can participate.
・People who are new to battles and events
・People who are worried about participating in an event after a long time
・People who mainly play MTG Arena and are new to tabletop Magic
・People who consider themselves beginners
If you are unsure whether you or your friends qualify for participation, please feel free to contact the store.
The purpose of this event is for participants to get used to playing against each other while having fun. We ask that experienced players be considerate of other participants. If we judge that it is difficult for you to enjoy the event according to the purpose of the event, we may refuse your participation. Thank you for your understanding.
〇Event structure The basic format is a 4-person table, and the participants will be divided into 3 to 5 people depending on the number of participants.
A total of 2 games will be played. The tables will be rearranged between games. This event is open to those who wish to play the "Party" game level. For more information on game levels, please refer to this article.
Each game lasts 60 minutes.
If the game does not end within the time limit, the player with the most lives (if there are multiple players, the player seated at the back) is the winner. However, if the player with the most lives can change before the stack is empty, the game will continue until the stack is empty or 10 minutes have passed.
Once the winner is decided, the participants at the table will decide on the "Exciting Happy Award" for this game.
You can change decks for each game.
○Necessary items
Please bring a deck and items such as dice necessary for game progress.
It is convenient if you have a smartphone that can use "Magic: The Gathering Companion" (details below).
○For first-time players
When participating, it is convenient if you create a Hareruya account and install the smartphone app "Magic: The Gathering Companion" and create an account in advance. You can use it to receive push notifications of table numbers, display life, and register match results.
You can create a Hareruya account from your Hareruya My Page, and download "Magic: The Gathering Companion" and create an account (if you play MTG Arena, you can use the same account) from the official MTG page.
*You can participate in the event even if you do not have these.
○Minimum number of participants
This event will be held if there are 3 or more participants.
○Participation in the middle of a game
Participation in the middle of a game is accepted up until the start of the second game. In this case, the participation fee will be 300 yen.
○Half-price discount for women
Female players will receive half-price participation fees for all Hareruya-sponsored events. Participation in this event costs 300 yen. Please inform staff when registering for the event.
